Reproductive Mental Health Specialists in Philadelphia

Reproductive mental health is a specialized area of psychological care.

Our clinicians understand that experiences such as infertility, pregnancy loss, assisted reproduction, pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and third-party family building often involve emotional, relational, medical, ethical, and practical considerations at the same time.

Rather than approaching these experiences as isolated symptoms, we consider the broader context of what you are navigating.

That specialization is central to the work we do at Ebb & Flow.

Specialized Mental Health Care Services

Finding the right therapist is about more than finding someone nearby. For many of the clients we work with, it also means finding a clinician who understands the emotional complexity of reproductive health, family building, pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and women's mental health.

Ebb & Flow Psychological Associates specializes in supporting women, individuals, and families through experiences that are often deeply personal and difficult to navigate alone.

Our Philadelphia therapists provide care for concerns including:

Infertility & Fertility Treatment

Fertility treatment can affect nearly every part of life, from relationships and work to identity, hope, grief, and uncertainty. Therapy can provide a place to process the emotional realities of infertility, IVF, treatment decisions, and the ongoing stress of trying to build a family.

Third-Party Reproduction

Ebb & Flow has specialized experience supporting individuals and families building their families through donor conception and gestational surrogacy. We offer third-party reproduction services including psychological consultations and evaluations.

Pregnancy & Postpartum Mental Health

Pregnancy and the postpartum period can bring significant emotional and psychological changes. We support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, identity changes, birth-related concerns, relationship stress, and other challenges during pregnancy and after.

Women's Mental Health and Life Transitions

Our work extends beyond reproductive experiences. We support women navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationships, identity, stress, changing roles, and other emotional concerns across the lifespan.

Pregnancy Loss & Reproductive Grief

Miscarriage, stillbirth, termination for medical reasons, unsuccessful fertility treatment, and other reproductive losses can bring complex forms of grief. Our clinicians provide a compassionate space to process loss while recognizing that there is no single way to grieve.
